Lumecca IPL
is a powerful treatment that uses light to improve skin by targeting red and brown pigments. It helps to reduce pigmented and vascular skin issues, often showing noticeable results after just one session. The treatment works by delivering light that breaks down these pigments without harming the surrounding skin.
During the procedure, you may feel a quick flash of light and a mild, prickling sensation. Redness and warmth are common afterward but usually go away within an hour. It’s important to avoid direct sun exposure and tanning for two weeks after treatment. While one session can make a difference, a series of three to six treatments is recommended for the best results.

What areas can be treated with Lumecca IPL?
Lumecca IPL can be used on any part of the body, but it is most effective on areas that are often exposed to the sun, such as the face, neck, chest, legs, hands, and arms.
Please note: A consultation and patch test are required at least 24 hours before treatment, which your practitioner will recommend if necessary. Lumecca™️ IPL is suitable for Fitzpatrick skin types I-IV, so it may not be appropriate for those with darker skin types.
For darker skin, we offer alternative treatments like our Pigmentation Facial, Microneedling, and Bespoke Skincare products to address hyperpigmentation
How quickly will I see results?
The recovery time after LumeccaIPL treatment varies depending on the skin concern being addressed, but most patients fully recover within 7 days, provided they follow the aftercare instructions given by their practitioner. If treating vascular lesions, there is a possibility of purplish bruising occurring.
Does it hurt?
Lumecca IPL treatments are quick and typically painless. You may feel a gentle warmth or slight heat on the skin as the treatment is applied, but it is usually well-tolerated.

I booked in for 3 sessions of Lumecca with Angelika to get rid of some pigmentation for my upcoming wedding - after 2 sessions alone my skin is looking visibly better.
Seen by Dr Abes for the treatment for my dark under eyes did a fab job in reducing the dark circles in the under eyes and making my eyes look more natural and healthy. Very polite and professional.

I started my journey with skin house in September. I have done 3 chemical peels and currently on my second session of PRP+ microneedling. I am so impressed with my skin so far, I have suffered from acne for so long and this honestly has helped my skin so much. I feel a lot more confident! I don’t really break out as much. Only have a few marks and scarring left. The team at skin house are amazing and so accommodating to your needs.
