Clinical skin care, close to home
Skin House is an independent skin clinic on Hitchin Road in Stopsley, on the north side of Luton. We treat the skin itself, with clinical peels, medical microneedling, radiofrequency and light, rather than offering a menu of pampering facials.
What we treat
Most clients come to us with one main concern: pigmentation and melasma, active acne and the scarring it leaves behind, fine lines and loss of firmness, redness and rosacea, or thread veins. Others simply want skin that looks brighter and healthier.
How a treatment plan is built
Your first visit is a free consultation. We look closely at your skin, ask about your history, medication and routine, and agree what you want to change. Then we recommend one treatment or a combination, with an honest view of how many sessions it is likely to take. A typical plan might pair a course of DermaQuest peels with SkinPen microneedling for scarring, or HydraFacial with Lumecca IPL for sun damage.
Treatments for different skin tones
Not every device suits every skin. Lumecca IPL, for example, is designed for Fitzpatrick skin types I to IV. If light-based treatment isn’t right for you, we’ll suggest an alternative such as the Cosmelan depigmentation peel or Melanostop peels, and we patch test where a treatment needs it.
Booking and paying
You can book a consultation by phone, WhatsApp or online, or book a treatment online once you know what you need. We call you to confirm your appointment. Pay by card, or with Klarna on orders of £200 or more. For prices and what to expect, read our guides to HydraFacial and chemical peels.

When I first arrived at Skin House I had very inflamed acne. Angelika has been so understanding and kind throughout the entire process, always reassuring me and giving me great personalised advice towards my skin.
AlaiaI had the Melanostop Peel with Nafisah and the experience was amazing from start to finish. My skin already feels smoother, brighter, and refreshed.
Divya S.Had my first SkinPen session with Angelika and she was very precise. She’s very knowledgeable and doesn’t make you feel rushed, can’t wait to continue the course of treatment.

How is a skin clinic different from a beauty salon?
We focus on treating skin concerns such as acne, pigmentation and scarring, using clinical peels, medical microneedling, radiofrequency and light-based devices. Every plan starts with a consultation and a look at your skin, not a menu.
How do I know which treatment I need?
Book a free consultation. We look at your skin, ask about your history and goals, and recommend a treatment or combination. There is no obligation to book.
Are your skin treatments suitable for darker skin?
Many are, but not all. Lumecca IPL, for example, is designed for Fitzpatrick skin types I to IV. We check suitability at your consultation, patch test where needed, and recommend an alternative such as a depigmentation peel if a treatment isn’t right for you.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on the treatment and your skin. Lumecca IPL is usually 3 to 6 sessions, and thread veins often clear in 1 to 3. We’ll give you a realistic plan at your consultation.
Can I spread the cost?
Yes. You can pay with Klarna on orders of £200 or more, or by card.
Where is the clinic?
We are at 640 Hitchin Road, Stopsley, Luton LU2 7UG.
