Cosmelan Depigmentation Peel – The Gold Standard in Treating Stubborn Pigmentation
1. Prep & Treatment:
The Cosmelan Peel is a powerful treatment that works in two stages; however, your skin must be cleansed and prepped beforehand. First, the peel is applied to your skin and left on for several hours until completely dry. There is no discomfort during this time, but it is recommended to avoid any social plans while the peel is on. Afterward, the peel will be gently removed with water. You can expect your skin to feel slightly irritated and appear red due to the active ingredients penetrating your skin during the treatment.
2. The Healing Process:
One day after the treatment, your skin will appear red and plump—this is a positive sign that the Cosmelan Peel has triggered the skin’s natural shedding and healing process. During this phase, blood flow increases to the treated area, delivering collagen along with red and white blood cells, which helps reduce pigmentation and enhances overall skin tone.
About seven days after the treatment, you can return to your daily activities; however, your skin may still show some redness and peeling, as the full recovery can take up to four weeks. By this time, pigmentation will have started to fade, and your skin’s texture will improve thanks to boosted collagen production and increased hydration. It is essential to use the Cosmelan 2 serum as directed to prevent the formation of new hyperpigmentation.
3. Monthly Aftercare:
Around four weeks after your Cosmelan Peel treatment, you should start seeing noticeable improvements in your skin’s pigmentation, texture, tone, and overall radiance. To maintain and enhance these results, it’s crucial to follow a consistent skincare routine that includes daily application of SPF 50 sunscreen and the Cosmelan 2 serum. While this treatment effectively targets pigmentation, results can vary based on the initial severity. Some clients may benefit from follow-up treatments every six months to sustain their results.

I started my journey with skin house in September. I have done 3 chemical peels and currently on my second session of PRP+ microneedling.
